Introduction

Research Center on Flood & Drought Disaster Prevention and Reduction of the Ministry of Water Resources (CDPR) ‘s position is that serve the Ministry of Water Resources, river basin, provincial and municipal flood and drought disaster prevention departments, provide decision-making scientific and technological support and technical services for flood control, drought relief and disaster reduction, and carry out scientific and technological achievements transformation and technical exchange training.

The goal of the disaster reduction center (Defense center) is to become a high-level support support center for flood control, drought relief and disaster reduction, a high-level decision support center, a high-impact science and technology innovation center, a high-efficiency information exchange center, a high-quality talent training center, and a high-yield technology transformation center.
